What We Do

West Sacramento Parks & Recreation consists of four separate functions: a Parks Division, Recreation Division, Early Learning Services, and our Tree Program. The Parks Department provides recreation and leisure opportunities with its park facilities and recreation programming. These programs are designed to help local residents improve their overall health and quality of life.

West Sacramento Tree Lighting

Join the City of West Sacramento and the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce as we kick off the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting festivities in front of City Hall!
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for live music and local entertainment, holiday shopping with local makers, free kids activities and games... and of course FREE pictures with Santa and the annual tradition of lighting our community holiday tree!
This is a FREE community event. No need to register, just show up in front of City Hall in your festive holiday outfit and plan on having tons of fun! See this event on the City Calendar.
